Year of make?

How can I find out what year a Kawa Z1 is made? I have a chassino: "Z1F27292"

my z1f is a 76 it should have a sticker on the frame behind the forks with the month and year of manufacture

If we assume that you don't have the frame ID sticker as mentioned by btchalice (and some frames that have been repainted etc, don't), that the production information in Dave Marsden's 'Original Kawasaki' book is correct, that the info posted on zedder.com is correct, and that my math is correct, then your bike should have been produced in November 1973 (oops, originally typed 1974). Let me know if this is correct:)

27,942 is early in the series id guess early 74;)

zedder.com refrence says ,"1974". The frame no. goes to 47499.
The colors were candy tone orange and candy tone yellow.

your frame was produced in November 1973.
