sometimes permit air to infiltrate between the tires plies which can result in a nasty failure (I had this happen on a car). If I was going to fix a tubeless bike tire it would be with a patch inside the tire. Hopefully you will not experience any problems. If you feel any wobble or instability while riding check and replace the tire immediately. I ignored such a warning on my car (not realizing the plugged tire was the problem) and nearly wrecked when the belts separated. Ed
