Seat latch Help was created by Mid life crisis
Hi there.
The ignition on my 1981 KZ750 has been replaced, so the key does not fit the seat latch mechanism. I know I can just remove the latch, but I would like to be able to have the seat click into place.
I was thinking that I can drill through it or somehow make it so any key will fit.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

If you don't have the key to the seat latch take a close look at the lock. It may have a number stamped in the face of it next to the key hole. If it does, that's the key number that fits it. Ed
