Perhaps there's a malfunction within the ignition switch itself, such as a short, corrosion, worn out, etc.
I don't know whether or to what extent the switch might possibly be disassembled for inspection and/or repair. Or if it might help to spray it internally with an electrical cleaner such as Deoxit.
If a replacement switch is needed, would check for availability at Z1 Enterprises.
For an example, click > www.z1enterprises.com/ItemDetails.aspx?i...lock&item=EM40-80610
As for no spark, would begin diagnosis by assuring that both ignition coils are receiving battery voltage.
Also, if needed, there are wiring diagrams in KZr's FILEBASE.
For one of the diagrams, click here > www.kzrider.com/filebase/doc_download/301-z550a2
Could also check out the info and service manuals provided by KZr member, loudhvx:

If possibly referring to the IC Igniter wiring, it likely has a ground wire (usually black/yellow) that must be properly grounded.

So I put back in old IC igniter, checked and cleaned every connector and ground. Now it works, No sure were problem was? Most of the connector plugs had corrosion in them, maybe just a bad connection?
Thx for your help Dirk
