KZ650 and KZ750 foot pegs mounts

I'm new to this forum. I got it recommended on kz650.info
I am looking to do rearsets on my KZ650-D2 SR and I found a complete set on Fast from the Past for a KZ650, which doesn't seem to fit (my bike has the two bolt foot pegs), but I found this set for the KZ750, which looks like it might fit.
Now my question is, does the KZ650-D2 and the KZ750-E1 use the same two bolt system? Do you think it will fit? And did it have rear disc brakes?
I hope you can help

I was hoping to find a kit that just fits, otherwise I'm thinking of buying this and getting a blacksmith to create a mounting plate. That looks great! It looks fairly easy to mount, was all the necessary parts included? Not a bad idea concerning the bracket arm, maybe I'll do that.

As far as what comes in the kit, you will need to fabricate a shifter linkage. I cut down my existing shifter, and used my existing drum brake rod to make the linkage. On the brake side it really depends on what you have. I had a drum but converted to a mono-shock swingarm with a disk. That made it pretty simple as all I had to do is position the master cylinder on my bracket. To make things even more simple I went with an integral pressure switch/banjo bolt which eliminates the need for a conventional switch.
FFTP sells several linkage parts so it's pretty easy to piece something together if you don't want to cut up your existing parts.

I simply cut the original shifter down and drilled a hole for the clevis pin. I used the existing drum brake rod, threaded the ends and bent it to fit. Works like a champ.
