Ok, I have a 1981 KZ650 CSR. It has the aluminum rims with the spokes. The rear is a 16 inch rim. I'm looking to swap that out and find a 18 rear rim. I'd like to stay with spokes, and I'd like it to stay with the same aluminum style to match the front.

Option 1: Did any other Kawasaki bike have these style rims just in 18 inches, if so I would just re-spoke that to my hub.

-Option 2: two new set of rims that would be re-spoked to front and rear hubs. what would be a good light weight set of rims, I'd be looking for an aluminum(non chrome finish)48 spoke, 19 diameter in the front, 18 in the rear.

[strike]I don't think any KZ650 was originally equipped with aluminum rims on spoked wheels, so I suspect someone has already changed the rims.[/strike] See Martin's correction.

If you want to re-lace an 18" rim to your rear hub or re-lace both hubs with new rims & spokes these folks should be able to provide what you need. Ed

The 650-CSRs are quite a bit different from the earlier 650s.
