Many many times I've had to give assistance to some newer tech that bought an off-brand. Something like an ingersol rand 231-c or 2135 would be a sound investment and keep you from doing potentially dangerous improvised tool situations
Good luck with your project and be safe

I ended up using some of the engineering education I am paying so much for to get it off. I went out and bought a 5ft black steel pipe from the plumbing sections at a hardware store and fit it on the end of my breaker bar. As torque is equal to force x distance, I was able to get enough torque to break it loose! Gotta love these old bikes!

Or, you could use a torque multiplier. I have one that is a small 1/2" drive 4X, multiplies the input torque by 4, 100 ft lbs in, 400 ft lbs out. The bigger 1" drive models would just wind the frame up into a ball.

Mine wouldn't budge either. I tried to wrestle it with a breaker bar but no luck, a few burps with an impact and it was off. I'd like to think I loosened it up some
