Hi can I change the seals on the forks without removing the fork tubes ?

I’m sure there would be a way to get the seal out. Not sure I’d want to try. Anyway it’s a good time to separate the upper and lower to give them a good cleaning. Get all the old funk and junk out and put in new fresh fork oil. They are very simple. Don’t be afraid little bunny rabbit.

Not recommending trying & it doesn't always work, but I've heard of using air to pop to them out. I tried w a good air compressor but they didn't budge. Glad too, because there probably would have been a big mess. As Mikaw said, go ahead & take them apart.  If this is a 650-CSR, I have the same motorcycle & have done the seals. pretty easy once you know what's needed. I didn't the first time, so the first one was kind of hard, but after that, easy. can post a couple of pics if needed.
