Whats this for? was created by Schmeck
On my kz750 twin there are two mounting holes on right side of front forks ( sitting on bike) . There wasnt anything mounted on it so I'm wondering what it is used for . Im considering mounting a small plate to it for inspection sticker as I do not want the sticker on my fork . Anyone in Virginia put the sticker anywhere other than forks? Thanks for any info given -Tyler

If you use the mentioned mounting holes, try to find fasteners(bolts, screws) with either a socket head cap screw(Allen Head), or Torx(looks like a star)for the inspection sticker, as most street thugs are not carrying around a bunch of tools to steal stickers with.

If you still have the stock 76-79 fender with fender stay, then I don't know what extra holes you are talking about. A pic would really help.

Pics would help. Are you talking about the extra brake caliper mount on the RH fork?
