I have installed a ZRX1100 front end and complete rearend on my ELR, and looking to change sprockets and chain to get the correct offset and a 530 chain.

According to JT Sprockets, should the set to ZX1100 -90-92 fit my needs, with the correct spline for the front sprocket and correct rear sprocket, and also with some offset.

KZ1000R - www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue/model/5369
ZRX1100 - www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue/model/1178

Will this set fit my needs and will the offset be right? I donĀ“t want to make any changes to frame or engine

You really need to measure to determine the proper offset, I have no idea if the ZX11C offset will work or not. I can't remember what the ZX11C offset is, and since I lost power to the shop and it's below zero outside, I'm not going to go out there and measure one. :woohoo:

I swapped a ZRX swingarm onto my GPz1100 powered, GPz750 framed ELR and also did the 530 conversion. I thought I would be using an offset counter sprocket but after I got it all together and measured I found I really needed an offset rear sprocket, which no one made. I ended up cutting up the original 630 rear sprocket and used it as a spacer. It was the perfect width. My point here is, if you are swapping non stock parts then you are not going to know what you need until it is all together and you can measure it.

A good straight edge about 2-3 foot should work. If possible, do not have the chain installed, but use the sprockets.

Thanks, looks like I need to flip the rear sprocket and a 8mm front sprocket offset should do the trick! B)
