I found a set of wheels, Yamaha Honda street fighter mag wheels
MT2.50 x 16 Rear mag wheel
19 " Front Mag
Does any one know if they will fit on a 1981 kz 650

You will most likely need different bearings and spacers plus I seriously doubt that the disk rotors will match the calipers, and if it has a drum rear brake I doubt the brake linkage will match. Sounds like an awful lot of work to graft Honda or Yamaha wheels to a KZ. Why not simply get KZ wheels for the KZ? Ed

I guess those wheels are kinda modern & fancy looking?
If you decide to do as 650ed suggested, KZ550-Ltd wheels are a direct swap - all you need are the wheels & the Fr Br disk.... everything else swaps. I installed a set from a 1980 model. Other wheels will work.
Not the wheels, but for street fighter mode you could install the cylinder block & pistons from a 750-4.
For a penultimate 650-CSR you could then go with a Wiseco 810 piston kit from Ape Racing .
