brake bleeding was created by Mark Stark
Hey guys! im calling upon your guy's infinite wisdom. I just bled my brakes and am getting a steady flow of brake fluid but there is a problem. in order to successfully brake I have to pump the brake lever a couple times before the lever feels good. it first starts out spongey and eventually gets normal. please I need some advice people. I really appreciate it!

You still have air in the lines. Bleed it again.

should I completely bleed it again. I hear that air can get trapped in the part where the MC line splits.

Do you have a vacuum pump? I strongly recommend it for bleeding brakes. You can do one side and get a feel of the lever, if it is still soft do the other. I would do both though.

I use a pump that I bought from Arbor Freight for less than $20 and it works great
