TIME TO TRADE IN THE PEDALS FOR SOME POWER
Rear wheel nut was created by jsnabbs
Im heading to the workshop tomorrow morning and need to know the size of the rear wheel nuts.
lefthand side bolthead i have a spanner (cant rember what size that was but because i have it, its under 21mm)
I need to know the size of righthand side nut with locking pin through it.
hope someone can help as it will save me the detour of going to the workshop then back out to hardware shop, maybe i shouldnt leave my manuel at the workshop

I just went and checked my 81 kz550 LTD and my 1 1/16" (one and one sixteenth) socket fit the axle nut very good. so that's just about 27mm.
on my bike:
27mm or 11/16"
you could pack an adjustable wrench just in case
