So I've seen the threads on how to lower forks internally by adding a spacer to the damper portion of the fork and then cutting that amount from the spring, seems simple enough. My particular fork setup has a metal spacer between the spring and the fork cap (see 92026A in the diagram). Say I wanted to lower the forks an inch, could I cut an inch from the spacer and put that inch of pipe on the damper rod and be done with it? Makes sense in my head...
