Hello, I was wondering where we can find out which parts are interchangeable? Is there a listing somewhere? When I look on ebay I see a lot of parts for different years. Will late 70s fit 80s or 90s ect.

There's lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc.
Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.
www.kzrider.com/forum/13-bike-related/37...imitstart=0&start=20
kawasaki.com is a place to start the inquiry, but gives only an idea as to which exact part is shared among various models.
An otherwise identical part with another color is usually assigned a different part number (for example fuel tank or seat cover pattern).
Also doesn't cover bolt-on interchangeability of say a 1976 KZ900 LTD fuel tank that will fit on a 1976 KZ900 street model.
Good Fortune!

Thanks much Patton, that will get me started. I am learning a lot and am awed by what you guys can do. It really inspires me to keep going. Take care, Keith
