Does anyone know a source for a decent master cylinder without getting into the high end Brembo stuff ?

EX650 or Ninja 650 masters are 5/8" bore and there is a version with a threaded mirror lug. Readily available and cheap on ebay.

usa-motorcycles-inc on eebbaayy sells new aftermarket Br mcs
. I think the 12.5mm & 14mm are for a single disk, and the 16mm is for dual disk. Some of them don't have a mirror orifice.

When you buy brake lines for the Ex 650 master cylinder what do you ask for a far as size and the ends ? Sorry Im just not up on all the nomenclature. Thanks again for the help. Im going from what was an LTD down to a shorter handle bar

The line size is standard for all the bikes I've seen. Worst case is get a new banjo bolt if the old one doesn't fit.

I think all of the Japanese bikes have 10mm banjo fittings & oil bolts.
Z1Ent has Goodridge lines & fittings. CycleBrakes has Galfer (sp) lines w crimped-on fittings. I installed the Goodridge stuff... it was easy. I now need a shorter upper Fr Br line, so it'll be easy & cheaper since I can reuse the fittings. With crimped fittings, you have to replace the whole enchilada.
