79 sr650 rear brake issues. was created by Britome
I've been trying to deal with rear brake not bleeding. Getting frustrated. Replaced master cylinder but still can't get fluid to flow. One piston on the caliper seemed fine. The one I could get off without removing the wheel. I don't really want to remove the whole wheel yet to get to the other one. Any counsel is greatly appreciated.

With a new master cylinder you have to bleed it in stages. First get ti to bleed at the cylinder with no hoses. Use your finger against the hole to stop air getting back into the cylinder. Then connect the hose and do the same thing, then connect the calipers and use the actual bleeder. If this is not the problem then you have a stuck piston. But if it was not stuck pripr to the new mc then it is probably not stuck.

I recently bought a Miti-vac brake bleeder. it was the best $50 I ever spent on brake bleeding tools. Just sayin'

Ok. So fluid comes out of the master cylinder resivoir when i remove the banjo bolt for the line.
It comes out of the end of the line when removed from the caliper assembly.
It barely seeps out every once in a while from the bleed nipple when pumping the brake multiple times and cracking open the nipple. (I close the nipple before the brake pedal reaches full extension)
There is definitely fluid in the caliper and I don't see anything leaking. What do you think?
I appreciate the help.
