Don't know if applicable to the situation at hand, but some KZ models had the pad design shape changed during production run.
Should hopefully be able to look at a picture of the sought-after item before ordering.

The caliper with removable top took the square pads.

Check z1enterprises for brake pads,these are the ones you need for the rear brakes.

Sorry about that, I missed the "rear" part of your second question. It doesn't look like Ferrodo offers pads for your rear brake they only offer it for the LTD model which, as mentioned above, has different pads.
(Edit) Those EBC pads #FA36 are organic. the sintered ones part number is FA36V. They are more than adequate. The rear brake on these bikes it almost a little too much IMO, its not hard to lock up the rear wheel if you're braking hard.

i did have some trouble getting the platinum pads i had to order them through Mike at vintagebrake.com because he is a distributor for them.
