Upgrade 78 650 B2A to dual front disks was created by ewolpert
I am trying to find the easiest way to do this. I know the forks I have already have the mounting holes. Would I just need an additional rotor/caliper and a splitter. I have to replace the master cylinder as it stands.
Any help would be appreciated.

Also, keep in mind that KZ dual disk brake systems use thinner rotors than single disk systems. Ed

You can use 2 thicker rotors if you want,just adds a little weight is all.

I think you can just get a right caliper from a KZ1000 or whatever and swap. you will need a 5/8 bore MC. For street riding dual really wont make much of a difference, but it does look pretty cool. If your looking for better stopping power i would get new pads and stainless lines, and prep the sweep area with sandpaper in a crosshatching patten, then clean with acetone or MEK. Do not use aerosol brake cleaner. Heres my B2 I put a dual setup from a KZ1000 on.
