KZ650 & KZ750 Motor Mount Question

Reason I'm asking is, I've seen the engine guards for the 650's selling for $40 to $50, but the same guards listed for the 750's sell for $70 to $80. So if they have the same engine mounts, or bolt patterns, then I will get the guards listed for the 650's.

If I remember correctly, the case guards bolt on at the bottom front motor mount, and the top front motor mount assembly. I could very well be wrong, and personally at this point, It doesn't matter.
No matter where they bolt on, as they , (I believe), "bolt on at the same location on both bikes", my question is the same, even if I didn't explain myself properly in my first post, will the case guards / engine guards from the kz650's, bolt on to the kz750's ??
Any HELP will be appreciated.

The KZ650 & KZ750 (4-cyl) engine guards are the same. I think 1 or 2 of the GPzs are different.
Also, the 3-pt guards are preferable as the 2-pt type can fold over in a crash.

+1 on what Martin posted...not all 750-4 guards are the same...for example the 1983 750L model doesn't fit the 1982 750R1 model...at least one of the mount points doesn't line up...and the motors of both these models are dimensionally identical
