I got this rolling frame and it looks like its a 1974 kz900 frame? The rotor date seems to be 1973. Im I right about this frame id.? And if so, I found a 1980 kz1000 mk2 engine locally and thought it would fit but I might have to modify the motor mounts. Any help would be great.

74 Z1, not a kz900. But yes the year is correct.
1973-75 are z1
1976 is a kz900
1977-1980 is kz1000
1973-75 are z1
1976 is a kz900
1977-1980 is kz1000
