Does anyone have any pics, mods or fabs of steering stabalizers on their bikes? I've only seen a few ideas doing google searches so I thought I'd post the question here.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Just curious - Why do you feel you need one? Ed

Well, I've have ridden bikes with and without them. I much prefer to have something where I can set the steering damper myself. I feel much more comfortable on a a bike with one when dipping into tight curves on roads that are a bit bumpy. Or when the front wheel comes up at times, I'd like to have that extra help keeping out the front end wobble.

I've been wanting one for years. Have my eye on one on eBay. It's new and good price but on a bike there's always something more important. Some day.

I asked because some folks want to install them expecting to cover up a stability problem that their bikes have, such as speed wobble, etc.. Doing that is a bad idea compared to locating the source of the wobble (bad tire, worn swing arm bushings or steering stem bearings, etc.) It sounds like your reasons for wanting one do not fall into that category. :) Ed

Agreed! I'm going to be putting zx9 forks on and I'm going to make sure everything is stable prior to using an added stabilizer. Makes no sense putting a bandaid on bigger issue.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration

Had one of these on my lawson rep - there is a clamp (not shown in this listing) that fits on the frame just under the front of the fuel tank. This may be a one off part. There are tapped m6 holes here for the reflector etc. that it can be fixed to. also you need to attach to the bottom yoke or use a clamp
around the fork.

The lawson Rep was always very well behaved even nailing to the red in low gears , but my tuned yoshimura 596cc was a bit wild over bumps and going fast over hump back bridges. Rather like a kh750 lighwieght, juicy and short wheelbase.

Agreed above, they are good period 'bling' but probably not necessary for 1100's.
