KZ1100 Front Master Cylinder Diaphragm was created by rokit_armor
So I bought a replacement front master cylinder for my kz1100
www.2wheelpros.com/magura-hydraulic-brak...ssembly-2516117.html
Bled the crap out of the system- it was all completely dry when I started. Went through at least 10oz of fluid, no air is coming out when I bleed it, but I have nearly full play on the brake lever. I feel this master cylinder may just be a bit too weak for a dual-caliper setup. So i ordered a rebuild kit from Z1, but I need the diaphragm. Mine was toasted when I got it.
Ebay yields no results for this bike.
Any suggestions?

That Magura master cylinder has a 13mm piston bore.
For dual disk you'd probably need 14mm or 16mm.
CycleBrakes sells Galfer brake lines, but I do not know anything about their pricing.

Usa-motorcycles-inc sells a variety of Fr Br master cylinders. Here's one:

Sounds like you still have air bubbles in the line. Try something? ...hold the brake lever in the compressed position and tie it there, overnight. Try it in the morning and see if you get any restriction...

Let us know if this has any effect.

I had the same problem. I took it apart and found some slime in there. I need a rebuild kit and a diaphragm too. It works but the seal on top seeps.

I will try the 'reverse bleed' method when I get a chance to put the stock master cylinder on. The stock master cylinder will let me use the stock brake light switch anyway. Cleaned the everloving heck out of that thing, it was pretty gnarly. rebuild kit moves nicely in there. I made a lame absent-minded mistake and somehow tossed the brand new rebuild kit in the dumpster  Luckly I managed to find it before trash guy came.
