On my KZ650 I used the stock passenger peg brackets and installed a long bolt the existing hole and installed a set of aluminum pegs I made by buying round stock, then drilled a hole and tapped it with threads that matched the bolt. I screwed the pegs onto the bolt and fabbed up some linkages.

OP most rearsets can be modified between models with a bit of tweaking.

StreetfighterKz wrote: The cheap way to move the pegs up and back is flip the OEM peg holders (unless you have the large mounting plates). Then just shorten/bend the shifter and brake pedals as necessary.

I did this on my KZ1000 and if you're 6' or taller it's a tad uncomfortable. Looks cool though.

I used '04 Suzuki GSXR600 foot pegs and brackets, bolted on.
Others have used similar from Yamahas and Kawis.
Helps to have a rear disk brake, not sure what a 1000b has off hand.
