Part Name identification needed Gpz 550 was created by aragorn43
hello
Im looking for help in identifying a piece, in fact the thing is that I need the name in English (to search for it in the web) and a picture of it, so I can send it to a junkyard so they can search for it there. its really hard in Mexico to get spare parts for old bikes. Its like the bolt or screw (i apologize i don't know the proper name) that hold the plate where the clippers (handlebar) goes. I added a picture of something like it. I was in partzilla trying to find the diagram and find the name of the part, but either i am more dumb than I thought or is not there.
I added a pic my mecanic give me to try to guide me of what i need to search for.
Thanks for any help

Which of those four pictured parts are you looking for? And what year GPz550 do you own?

From top going clockwise:
Dust cap
Bearing race
Top clamp retaining bolt
Steering stem nut.
Not technical terms but that's what they are.

Steering stem bolt: Flange bolt. From the part number at Partzilla (113G1425),
I believe it is a 14mm x 25mm L fine thread bolt. maybe a 1.25 pitch.???
A fastener supply would list it as a flange bolt.
Steering stem nut: Lock nut. From the diagrams at Partzilla your bike has 2 lock nuts with 2 different part numbers. (they don't look like the typical locknut as shown in your photo). I don't know if it matters what lock nut type you get.
If all the parts can't be found individually, you could get a steering stem w the needed stuff.
GPz550 steering stem or KZ1000 Police steering stem w lock nuts & bolt
