I have a KZ250 with the rear suspension of 320mm eye-to-eye (or there abouts - I'm pretty sure that's what they're supposed to have). However, the clearance between the wheel and the guard isn't much. The suspension is very stiff so it's not really a problem, but since it's a lazy 250 and softer suspension would be nice (they pretty much sit at full travel the entire time), and also because I'm way to tall for the bike (I'm 6'4") I was thinking about putting on some slightly longer shocks.
It seems pretty easy to get shocks that are 350-365mm - would there be any issue putting these on in place of the old ones? I understand that it can change the steering response but I'm OK with that. But any issues with clearance?
