Either fill them with weld then drill & tap them OR buy a nut with the correct size thread for the footpeg, have it turned down on a lathe so it will slip into the hole in the frame, and weld it in there. Ed

This model requires the threads to be on the frame ...as the pegs come with a threaded bolt and nut.
Don't have the pegs yet but my 79 kz1000 were the same way.
Was able to remove one from a piece of dram I had.... But thinking of using a time sert instead . Very expensive but will be done in a minute .
