Hello Guys. What do you recommend as an upgrade replacement BRAKE PAD for a 1982 GPZ 750. Is there something that offers better performance than the 80s version?

Sintered, Organic or Ceramic. These are some of the different ones I have read about. Anyone have experience or knowledge of these?

I can tell you that the stock Kawasaki pads worked the best for me on my bikes... but, I found that if I used a new hacksaw blade to cut two slots through the good, brand name aftermarket pad material, (in the same direction as rotor rotation/motion), they were quieter and had MUCH less audible squeal.... I never noticed and difference in braking or fade.
I'm not sure if it was the material or not.
It probably just changed the frequency of the squeal so I didn't hear it.

FIRST find out whether or not your bike originally came with sintered pads. Sintered pads contain metal bits. If your bike did not come with sintered pads the rotors will wear badly, so in that case using sintered pads would not be a good idea. Ceramic brake pads cause even more rotor wear than metallic pads, so they may not be a good choice for a KZ.
Here's a quote from the Dennis Kirk web site regarding sintered pads (they sell sintered and organic pads).
"While all of the positives of sintered brake pads are appealing, they do have their drawbacks. One of these is the wear and tear that they put on rotors. In fact, if your bike’s rotors are not made to be used with sintered pads, you should absolutely not use them. Sintered pads produce more wear on rotors because they are so hard. "
