Anyone know the name of those bolts, that are all the way to the rear of the tire? The further you push them in the farther back the tire sits, therefore taking up chain slack? Long story short mine broke off yesterday when I was trying to take up some (a lot) of chain slack. Theyed swollen in the middle and one broke off so I decided to take the other one out in a controlled break because it had swollen and the threads where screwed to hell. Back to the question. I have no idea what they're called, so I don't know what to ask for at the auto parts store. Thanks guys

I refer to them as chain tensioning bolts ,also known as chain adjusting bolts.I dont think its going to matter in an auto parts store as theyll have no idea what youre talking about. Your best bet is to take the old bolt with you to a good hardware shop that stocks a good selection of nuts and bolts , or a motorbike shop. Chances are,if you go to a (proper) bike shop where they repair old bikes,theyll have something lying around that you can use.
I think the original bolts might have a fine thread rather than the normal metric thread.Be sure to check that before you try fitting them.

Thanks now at least I have some thing to go off. Only problem is no bike shops around unfortunately. Could I go to manages and get a bolt that matches up with it? The bolts I have are pointed at the end, could I just file the new ones down?

You can get bolts that are the proper pitch and length and carefully grind points on the ends using an old bolt as a reference for the angle of the points. I have done this with stainless steel bolts and it works just fine. Ed
