Stupid question concerning grips. was created by 76KZ900
I have a set of foam grips with the chrome caps at end. I'm wanting to remove caps but not destroy them. What the heck holds those things on ? And how do you remove them without destroying them ?

I like the foam and chrome grips too but I think they are glued together.

There's a screw and a washer on the inside.
If you pull hard enough, they'll come off, but you'll never be able to get the cap back on without removing the grip.
