What's the best way to flush a gas tank?
I have been soaking my tank in Evaporust. It seems to be working well, most of the rust is gone.
My problem is the tank strainer keeps clogging causing severe performance issues. I have flushed the tank with Evaporust, degreaser, water + degreaser, gasoline, gasoline + berrymans, gasoline + Isopropyl alcohol. With a flashlight the tank looks very clean inside however the tank strainer immediately clogs with debris (dirt, grime, old paint, etc) when I put the strainer back in.
I do not see a way to solve this. I cannot ride because the strainer clogs the first tank of gasoline. Do I just need to put a hose in the tank and run it for hours?

Ive used sand + Vinegar + Distilled water to clean the tank. You MUST buy a tank sealer though. Otherwise itll continue to rust.

What I've done in the past is place a small diameter chain into the tank then shake it around vigorously with some gas still in the tank. This will loosen up the rust.
