Rear brake..... was created by Copbike1000
Hi guys. I've completed my ZX636 swingarm, wheel, and 180 tire swap on my Copbike1000. I am thrilled with the results. The only concern that I have is the ZX636 rear brake caliper. It is tiny to say the least and therefore the braking force is minimal. Is it me...or is the ZX636 rear caliper not enough to bring a KZ1000 to a stop? I've tested the rear brake at an average speed and at this point, it is useless. This is working my dual front brakes overtime, not happy about that! I did install new brake pads and bled the rear brake system, any ideas?? Would the new rear brake pads need to be broken in? Also, I bought cheap pads on Ebay, could that be the issue? I might just go out and get high end pads.
Thanks in advance,
Daniel

Part of it could be the M/C bore size of the Kz master vs the Zx master.

Looking good. If you don't like the way those shocks ride,
Chris Livengood
rebuilds them. swaps out a couple of internals puts quality oil in and fills them with nitrogen.
