Made my own baffle..lol was created by spdygon
So the exhaust did not have a baffle when I bout my bike...once I got it running it as to loud while riding. I had an original 1 1/4" baffle from a kerker header I had on my 79 kz1000 and installed it. Well 2 weeks ago while riding it came off...turn back to look for it and as I saw it in the distance a truck ran over it. Only was able to collect the tube.
So I made my own baffle from scrap metal plates.

That's awful short. How does it run? If you need measurements from the ones I have just ask.

It's about 14" long....runs the same but a lot quieter at cruising speed.
Next I'm going to make one with a 2.5" opening just like a race baffle.

That race baffle sucked, too loud. I'll take pics with my tape next to them so you get a idea of the bores and lengths. The ring inside is not only to direct flow, it also is support.
Steve
BTW, looks good.
