Just baught it, seems to be a kz650 with a 750 engine, help confirming what she is please!

He isn't sure exactly which KZ650 it is & what 750 model the engine is from. From his other topic, the bike is probably a 77 B1 & the engine should be from a 1980 750 Ltd, but it has the engine covers from the 650. The points ignition & generator may have been swapped from the 650. ??? For most stuff it's handy to know exactly what you're working with.

Carbs are probably also from a 650. Not 750 carbs for sure.

The 650, if it was a 77, would have had the excited-field type alternator. That would have required the alternator cover with the three screws. If it has the three screws, then he has the 650 charging system.
EDIT: I checked out the other thread... so yes, it's a 77 650 B1 (made in 1976) with a 750 motor apparently using the 77 650 charging system.
