Wondering if anyone has done it and where they got the sprockets from?? I see listings for the 84-86 GPZ550 but nothing for an '82

The JT Sprockets website has the sprocket mounting hole pattern dimensions. Just look up your bike and take notes. Cross referencing that pattern into a 520 sprocket set is not so easily done though. You might want to check out the GPz550 forum and search there. Bet you will find the info you need. Unless you are building a race bike I'm not sure what benefit the switch will provide. 520 is narrower so the sprockets will wear faster than 530.
