I'm about to order 530 sprockets and a chain for my 82 kz750ltd. If my math is correct, a 16 front sprocket and a 38 rear sprocket should put me close to stock gearing (based on stock 13/32 630 sprockets). The stock 630 chain is 84 links, so that puts me at 102 links for a 530, correct?

If I plan on going to an 18" rear wheel, should I go with a 40 tooth rear sprocket?

On the street I run 16-42 with 530 chain.

1980 KZ650 F1
ZX750A1 motor.
Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.
