I think these maybe off an H2 and somehow made their way onto a KZ, or the forks are from a Z.
this is the mongrel 77A1 that I have btw.
anyone please chime in if you have any info that may help to ID these or what I can look for to help ID them ie casting marks, ect.
to add.

My bobber (KZ400 based) is a collection of many manufacturer's parts and I have used this web site,
www.cmsnl.com/
to have a look through the microfiche drawings and identify parts. It helps if you have a vague idea of the parts original source.

Agree, I had the same on the H1E, but the forks look the same for a Z1 if I'm not wrong???
First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, 1983 fully recon motor fitted LOVE THIS BIKE
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as FJ above)
