82 1100a2 side cover was created by rokit_armor
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationFound out one day that my right side cover mysteriously disappeared. I suspect foul play but who knows maybe it just fell off. I've been having a heck of a time locating one, went through the largest bike salvage yard I know of (they had an entire tractor-trailor full of side covers) and no dice. I found one on e-bay, it's scuffed at beat up but I will be repainting it anyway, doesn't look cracked and has all three tabs. Looks like it's from an 83 1100A, can anyone confirm that this is basically the same piece with different paint and emblem scheme? Also, I plan on drilling the prongs and putting a cotter pin on the backside to keep both side covers in place, I think I read that on here somewhere.

Almost caught the little creep trying to hot wire my bike. He ran and took the cover with him. His girlfriend was sitting in a car next to the bike. I didn't know it at the time so they got away. I HATE THIEVES.
There is a site that sells new aftermarket side covers. One of our members put up a link and I saved it but IT'S GONE.

Yeah I saw that one too Daveo, but the lack of tab turned me off the most. It also looks like the emblem was literally ripped off of it too, no big deal just more bodywork.

Could contact Z1E as to when expected back in stock and as to what other years/models might have a compatible right side cover.
If not already done, could also check out > www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/kawasaki/KP-36001-1116-A8.html
Good Fortune!
