Brake Master Cylinder was created by abfrison
Hello,
My magura master cylinder started leaking and will not consistently release. The bike has been sitting for about (4) years. I noticed on Amazon.com web site, there are several master cylinder replacement kits. How do I determine which kit is the correct size for my application? Or will I be better to just purchase a new one from Schnitz racing. Also, if I can find a replacement kit, how difficult is it to install. I have attached a pictures of the master cylinder and the bike. Thanks in advance. Anthony-

I'd take the master off the bike and then look for a c-clip in the bore and remove that. The piston will then pull out. You may not even need a new piston but if you do, measure the bore diameter and use that info to find the piston you need.
