Center stand problem. Wrong spring????? was created by car5car
I installed center stand and spring.
Center stand is hanging on spring and jumping. Spring is not holding it tight and can get disconnected.
If I move center stand up, it touches swing arm.
I'll take pictures in a few minutes

The stock left pipe is used for the centerstand stop to keep it from going up too high. You'll at least need to improvise a stop of some fashion if not running the original exhaust.

After sixteen years of riding with it, I now have the center-stand removed until needed to service the bike, after finally realizing how much better the bike handles corners without the thing scraping on the pavement. That is, since a V&H street header was installed a few years ago, and I just pulled the stand off this Spring...easy with the less-obstructive header.
