Shortening Mulholand shocks... was created by Rockranch
It seems I once saw a thread about someone shortening a set of early stock LTD Mulholland shocks (from the normal 13 1/2" c-to-c free length down to around 12 1/2" c-to-c), I have searched the thread archives to no avail. May be a different site, but thought for sure it was KZR. I need my rear to sit approx 3/4"-1" lower to match the drop in the front using the stock shock mounts (without going the 'lowering block' route). I know it's been done b4 with satisfactory results and I was wandering how., but I can not find a related thread. Thanks to anyone with 1st hand knowledge of it. .....................................Mike

Just buy a pair of those shock mounting brackets that pull the shock further back on the swing arm mount.

I have a set too. I'm not going that route with this bike as I mentioned. It changes the profile. .................................Mike
