swest wrote: Bruce and afew others run them and like them. I run the 230's. 110/90-19 front, 130/90-18 rear. I ran the 120 the last 6 months and just installed the 130 this time around. The bike handles better on dirt roads with the larger tire on the rear Looks better too.

Steve, forgive me for being a jerk but those sizes are too big for the rims. Yes, you can get away with them, but that doesn't mean they are recommended.
The front rim is 1.85 and the rear is 2.15. Go check some tire maker recommendations and they typically recommend some pretty skinny sizes on those size rims. Kawasaki was really pushing the envelop by specing a 120 on the rear.

I'd recommend them if your budget needs the room or if you aren't too aggressive. Otherwise I'd find something that will hold up longer.

I don't hot dog around nor ride loaded up, except the 1/3 of my time on the bike is with my wife as passenger.
I'm guessing I'll be looking at a replacement by Fall.
I have around 3500 miles on them now.
Might be able to push it to 5500, but I don't think much further.
I'd like to try a matched pair of 230's this next time.
