actual official lengths and knew the KZ/LTD/CSR were all made certain years and the LTD/CSR were more cruzer style and the Kz had more crotchrocket style. I know the cable lengths of the LTD/CSR are adequate I uncertain of connectability to my 98 KZ. Were I live the only dealers/reps dont seem to be able to determine any of these . Any light on this ridiculous situation would muchly be recieved. Also Ive looked into having these made and ulike harleys etc where this is easy and rougly about a hundred bucks for instock cable extensions its 300+ and its a mail order deal.. Thanks for the reply and keep it upright!

PS: I would install the bars & figure out the needed length, then get the appropriate cables. oem cables are preferable, but Motion Pro & Barnet make custom cables.

A single strand of solid core electrical wire will make it easy to determine the appropriate length. You can route the wire the way you would route the cable: it will hold its shape and you can experiment with slack. Once you're done, pull the wire off and measure it.
