Tach from 750H the same size as tach from 750E? was created by Nessism
Wondering if the tach from a 750H1 will fit on my 750E2. Same size and mounting methodology? The H tach has a voltmeter and mine has a head lamp bulb so I realize there is a minor functionality difference there.

No. It won´t fit. 750H tachometer and speedometer are way bigger than 750E.

The 82-2005 KZ1000P police meters may be similar in size to the 750E.
Here are the '05 police measurements from a topic. ... (for comparison 650-CSR numbers in parenthesis).
#1). Top/face OD. 3-5/8. .... (650-csr = 3-15/16 or 100mm)
#2). Speedometer cover OD where it meets the speedo. 3-7/8. .... (4-7/16 or 112mm)
#3). Mounting stud center-to-center measurement. 2-7/8. ... (3-5/16 or 84mm)
#4) Main body height above midpoint clamping ring. 1-15/16. ... (1-13/16 or 46mm)
#5) Lower body height below the clamping ring. 1". .... (1" or 25mm)

My tach currently works okay. It's a little slow to react to changes in engine speed and the needle sort of warbles some. The 750H tach I found is on ebay, brand new, and a good price. Plus it has a volt meter which would be a nifty feature to have. Since it won't fit I'll just stick to what I have. I don't want to purchase another used gauge that is not guaranteed to be better than what I have now.

If a 1000E fits I have one. The whole cluster really.
