You should also be searching for petcocks for KZ1000B1-B4 (1977-1980 LTD) as they also use 51023-1002. There is at least one used one on eBay and several aftermarket replacements.

So I checked out what you suggested but the part # is different. 53021-1002 compared to 53021-002? Are they the same

Yes it looks just like the 53021-043 petcock. It's just that the part #s don't match?

From the diagrams at partzilla the 900A & Ltd use the same mounting nut & packing. Z1Enterprises.com lists several fuel valves for both of the 76 900 models, and they all use a 22mm nut.

As for the difference, is the Ltd tank smaller than the 900A?
maybe the siphon tubes are different. or maybe one valve is shorter than the other. ???

I've seen them with one nipple coming out the side. Without having them side to side or a pic, advice would be only guessing. The supplier I suggested has a 100% money back guarantee and have treated me right.

Per Dave Marsden (upper case from original):
...THE [KZ900-B1 LTD] TANK WAS A MUCH SMALLER PEANUT SHAPE AFFAIR.
THE TANK CAP REMAINED THE SAME AS THE Z900-A4 BUT THE FUEL TAP WAS MODIFIED BECAUSE OF THE SLIMMER DESIGN OF THE TANK. THE OUTLET PIPES ON THE NEW TAP WERE ANGLED TO GIVE CLEARANCE FROM THE CARBS...
FUEL TAP: 51023-058

That's what I thought. The main fuel tube looks about 2" longer and one nipple is on the side' $22 is cheap and I'd replace the NOS rubber parts.

I'd go with the $22 one and replace the two O rings. Can't beat the price.
