Im looking for a set of new tires for my 1100 and was wondering if these are decent? On Ebay they are offered as Harley tires but I'm not thinking there should be a problem as they are same size.

I tried reading what I could on these. All I found was there are a Harley version which I assume is heavier load capacity but not sure if that's something that would make a difference..

Don't know much about them other then they are softer then Dunlops.
We bought a set of 777 white walls for my wife's bike and I still have to install them.
We are hoping to get 10,000 miles out of them (a season) we'll see.

Don't go to ebay for tires, you may get old dry rots that have been sitting

The 777's we got were both made about 6 months ago through Motorcycle super store for around 200 bucks

J & P Cycle is a good source for tires.
They have very good pricing and do very large volumes of sales so the tires you buy are always fresh from the factory.
I have had great luck with this company

Thanks everyone, I need tires and was looking at the 712 but read where they really want to follow the road cracks.. Which is what my dunlops do now. These are wore pretty good so I don't know if they did it new or not, but I don't want what I got now

I don't know what size tire a 83 takes Metric or inches?
If it's metric there are a bunch of good choice and none of them are dunlop
The only tire available in 3.25x19 and 4.00 x 18 ( which is what my rims are) are Avon AM-26 Roadrider's , I get over 10,000 miles on a set, they corner nicely and they don't follow the cracks.
I like them fine but I wish I had more choices,
I have not had great luck with the metric equivalents on my rims.

I had a set of 712's on my XS650 SG. Didn't like them as a set. They were ok except the road crack following. I put a 230 on the rear and it handled great! Not expensive either.

I don't have a plan and I'm sticken' to it! '77 KZ 650 / 750 GPz custom project in progress

I run these front and rear. Doesn't follow rain grooves like the Dunlops did.
