caliper rebuild was created by khungerf
Hello all, (been slacking and not working on the bike much)
I just pulled off the front calipers - one is 'sticky'

Assuming I should rebuild/replace both of the calipers ( a guess)
What rebuild kit do you recommend.

Pop out the pistons using compressed air (be careful, use a rag to contain the piston because it will shoot out with force).

Clean out all the grunge and inspect the piston. If it's rust pitted, replace it.

Install new OEM Kawasaki seals/dust boots and piston as needed. Order from your favorite OEM part source such as Partzilla. K&L brake system parts suck; the piston seals are sometimes the wrong size. Stay clear.

Lube the sliding pins using heavy black moly caliper grease.

Be sure to replace the brake lines at the same time and consider doing this same job on the master cylinder. Reusing the old brake lines is worse than reusing a condom.

Thanks, that is the kind of advide that is very helpful!
I will pop the piston out first and then see what I need to order. I will order the OEM rebuild kit
I have a set of SS brake lines just waiting to get installed.
