77 KZ 750 Twin - Handlebars was created by JWKZ750

Not sure how you guys feel about your stock handlebars, but mine hurt my hands (well, only my left hand really) when I ride for long periods. Im strongly considering swapping the handlebars. Thank GOD the wire DO NOT run through the bars!!

Anyway, whats a good style of aftermarket bar to get? your thoughts?

I have superbike style bars with a 2" rise.

Thats a pretty cool set up, but im thinking of something where the sweep of the handlebars isnt so sharp. I almost want horizontal bars .

Maybe it's just the perspective, but the handlebars in that pic don't look like superbike bars.
I like may hands forward & slightly angled. the natural position with my arms extended forward.

1981 KZ650-CSR with Emgo European bars from Z1Enterprises.com. one of these days I'm going to try superbike bars which should be a little better for high speed riding. i.imgur.com/EX04BEy.jpg ... i.imgur.com/F02HKjC.jpg

I was thinking superbike bars as well. Which brand of SuperBike bars would you get?

I know I may not be able to find these, but im looking for white anodized superbike bars

I said style. They're wide. I'm slightly leaned over but can sit up with one hand on the bars. The windshield helps with the wind. I can sit upright at a ton. :woohoo:

I call those Yamaha bars, but that's just my own term for bars with that shape. I have no idea how I came up with that. hee.
The BMW med tall bars above give an upright riding position that was great around town. not so great on the freeway.
I bought a Slipstreamer SS-28 shield, but it wouldn't work with the bmw bars. doh.

Yeah they do look like "Yamaha" bars. I replaced the bars on my otherwise stock 77 XS650 with gold anodized ones. See below
