There is also a service that refurbishes rotor's (someone on the site here has info) you could have drilled your own design.
Check with this site's Brian - "KZ10006" he might have a drilled one. I just bought 2 solid discs from him that I am going to machine

I don't have my manuals handy, but I'm pretty sure there are at least three different diameters for KZ front rotors between '77 and '80. Years ago I converted my '79 KZ650B3 to dual disks. I believe the dual disks were both thinner and smaller diameter. I also seem to recall that the caliper mounts on the fork was moved down to accommodate the smaller disks, so I had to swap forks. But this was 10+ years ago so I may be wrong. Anyone have a manual handy to check?
I do know that the 79/80 KZ1000 (drilled) has smaller diameter front disks than the 77/78 (solid or Z1R drilled).
Another only slightly related detail. The '78 Z1R and the '78 KZ650 SR have front calipers that looks the same as all other KZ calipers, but these use a smaller diameter piston.
