Where will you advise me to order chain and sprocket to my bike?

I`m going to order some other parts from Partzilla and z1enterprises, do they have good chain and sprocket I can use, or are you recommend other site ?

Thank you for your advise.

I bought a RK X ring chain at Z1 but their JT front sprockets have no hole for the lock washer so had to buy a PBI or Sunstar off of Ebay which does...... you can use loctite but I didn't like that idea....... also bought a aluminum rear JT off Ebay as I like the weight savings (and only go a thousand miles a year) but a steel one from Z1 will defently out last it.

Strongly advised to get a 530 setup.

Could these be a setup, I have taken control measurement on existing sprocket and it looks to be correct?

Why is the chain below much more expensive then the chain above ?

I ran a RK with a master link for years but had a bike shop rivet the correct link on this time to be sure (could save you from buying the tool)........ a little pain removing the swing arm and wheel...... be sure to clean and loctite that front sprocket good...... I've seen Nessium mention a green medium strength loctite that might be better than the blue....... not real sure on the 16/38 (530) being close to the same ratio as the stock 630 set up....... could ask Z1 first to be sure.

I'm a little unclear what bike you have but the stock final drive ratios for the 750E are 13/33

If you move to 530 and bump the front sprocket to 16 teeth that means you need a 40 tooth rear to keep the same ratio. A 38 will reduce rpm's a little which is desireable to some people but make the bike a little slower off the line.

The DID VX chain is a good one. That chain breaker tool should work as long as the master link has hollow pins. If you have to shorten the chain I'd grind off the original pin because if you try to push it through with that chain breaker it will bend.

Thank you for all the information,

Today I have 38/16 on the bike, and I`m happy with the performance and RPM, but I haven`t tried something else either...
The chain I have is 102 links,, but I dont`t know the type.

The 530 was is the indication for?

These mean that my bike dont`t have a orginal ratio? is these a problem?

Can I just keep with the same ratio that I have now, or will you advise me to go up to 40 back since I have 16 in front?

I have enough power for acceleration :)

The bike is 1981 KZ650-D4, but the engine is 750-H(H1 or H2) Ltd 81

Thank you all for your inputs.

If you are happy with the gearing then there is no reason to change.

530 is the chain/sprocket size. Original for the 750 was 630 but your bike was already converted it seems.

So then I go for chain I have order with 102 links, 16 front and 42 rear, shall be good to go, don`t need to cut the chain?

I have now 102 links 16 front and 42 rear...

Sorry for my incorrect reporting..
